The primary skill is learning effective brainstorming techniques.

There has been a significant improvement in the senior design projects.

This course utilizes the finding of the creativity research that has been conducted for the past fifty years, with a focus on recent findings.

Example Assignment

Students are challenged to become an expert in paraplegia and using these learnings go to beach and design 30 new products that a paraplegic could be used in the water to make it a fun filled day. 

Lessons Learned

This course should be introduced in the freshman year and elements taught throughout the 4-5 year learning experience.
